About
We are Nickel City Slashers, the low budget (to no budget) filmmakers based out of Sudbury, Ontario. With our obsession in horror films behind us and our ambition ahead of us, we're determined to make an impact on the scene.
Having shot a few short films (that haven't seen the light of day) and one short (Paint) that was accepted into multiple film festivals, we dove head first into trying our hands at a feature film “Chemical Imbalance”.
Through plenty of trial and error and help from wonderful people in the community, our first taste at the silver screen has been nothing but motivating to continue. With more project ideas than we know what to do with, we're excited to keep pushing forward with our base knowledge and willingness to do anything twice. (Gotta make sure we didn't like it the first time).
